Cruise Ship Overview: Costa Mediterranea, Greek Islands – July 2013

This film options a extensive one hour and 7 moment review of the Costa Mediterranea Cruise Ship. The Costa Mediterranea is a Spirit-class cruise ship operated by the Costa Crociere cruise line. She was constructed at the Kvaerner Masa-Yards (at the moment Aker Finnyards) in Helsinki, Finland at a charge of above €400 million. Like sister ship Costa Atlantica, her design was derived from the Carnival Cruise Traces Spirit-class ships, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Pleasure, Carnival Legend and Carnival Miracle. On June sixteen, 2003 she departed on her maiden voyage from Genoa to Spain and Portugal.

General public rooms aboard Costa Mediterranea this sort of the ten ground substantial Maschera d’Argento atrium, were influenced by Italy’s 16th and 17th century palazzi and embellished to replicate the ship’s motto “Mai visto niente di simile” (You’ve in no way seen just about anything like it). The twelve decks are named just after mythological and historic characters: Circe, Tersicore, Bacco, Teseo, Orfeo, Narciso, Prometeo, Pegaso, Armonia, Cleopatra, Pandora and Medea.

The ship options the next amenies, all of which are lined in the review:
4 swimming pools, 1 with a retractable glass roof
4 open up-air Jacuzzis
Attractiveness salon and spa
3-story gym
Multi-goal athletics court
3 restaurants: Ristorante degli Argentieri (two-story most important dining location), Perla del Lago Buffet, Club Medusa (choice dining location)
14 Themed bars and lounges
Egyptian themed Osiris Theatre
Canal Grande Casino
Selva Discothèque
Squok Club kid’s facilities
Mondo Virtuale arcade
Library/Internet Cafe
By using Condotti stores

The review starts at the port of Rhodes, in which the ship was boarded, it describes the embarkation approach in advance of offering a extensive cabin review of 7th Deck Stateroom cabin 7226, which is an exterior cabin with a balcony.

Pursuing this the review starts on the 12th deck and operates it is way downwards to the A Deck which is the really base deck, beneath deck one.

The review is trustworthy and details out both of those optimistic and negative options of the ship. Overall though this is a optimistic review for Costa Cruises and the Costa Mediterranea, on which we had an exceptional week, and a really pleasant time. We would use them all over again, and on this experience, the Costa Mediterranea is a ship that i would happily propose.

  3. Well presented video, but to be honest I wasn't all that impressed with the interior design of the ship overall, and the food and how it was presented, looked awful. I suggest you try Fred Olsen or P&O cruises in future, much nicer ships and food to die for. The quality of food and presentation, on both these cruise lines, far exceeds what I have seen on this Costa Cruise Ship

  4. Nice video, myself I am dreaming about the world-around-cruise. Liked the texts. If you had replaced some wind howling with soft music, it would be just perfect. But in general — thumbs up.

  15. I just returned from this ship. It was wonderful. There are even more decks, but available only for crew: on the bottom of the ship there are decks A, B, and C, and on the top there is deck 12 (commnand briodge), and small deck on antena. Jogging line is considered a part of deck 11.

  29. how is that possible to have such crappy looking food on an italian cruise liner doing a greek islands cruise?  and overall, the ship looks cheap and dated compared to the likes of the oasis of the seas.  i guess the americans are spoiled for choice compared to what you have to to be happy with over in europe

  35. It's like being in a top luxury hotel that has a different view every day. If you go on the modern large ships you don't feel any movement either. Definitely an experience to try.

  40. Hello, the included drinks are very good, some premium brands, for example Drambuie was included which was a surprise. You pay no tips unless you want to apart from the daily cabin surcharge, which I can't remember how much it was (sorry). Didn't pay for anything lee, it was a good cruise and I'm sure you will enjoy it.
