  1. Miami is the biggest? When I sailed into it , it put me in mind of a huge airplane hanger, the nicest I was in , was Southampton's. I enjoy Transatlantic cruises , I was told that for the best prices, go to Vacations to go .com , just after 90 days for deals , for trips that people have cancelled.

  4. We would love to try a repositioning cruise, but when we looked at your recommended site (Cruise Direct) we would have to be overseas to depart from and sail to the port nearest us (the U.S.). It doesn't seem that it would work for us. How do we get home, thousands of miles away if the ship isn't repositioning here ? That's a lot bigger expense than just sailing from a U.S. port and back again to a U.S. port.

  12. Be careful of those cruise only websites. I've looked at some of those cruises and realized that it's the same price as on the cruise line's website.

  15. Great tips sir. I m a frequent cruiser and can't add anything. After you have taken alot of cruises you tend to love the sea days more. Repositioning cruise deals is a excellent tip. I actually prefer them now. On sea days all services are open aboard and more activities.

  20. Thank you for these trips, appreciate them. I've watched several of your videos now and taken on board your advice. One thing I would suggest is if you have prescription medication, not only pack it in your hand luggage as you said, but also ensure you have a list of EVERY item you take or use from the doctor, in the UK we have green and white reorder slips but they don't always in include all your meds. If you end up with a hospital stay on holiday they might need to change or reorder meds and written evidence helps. Hope that's useful. I had a brain tumour and take a copy of my MRI with me too, it helps.

  23. I usually watch repo cruises for a couple years out, see what the trend is.  For Holland America's cruise tours in Alaska, we were planning to book last minute, but they seemed to have changed the price structure for 2017 & 2018.  The good news is that I can book ahead at a more reasonable price, but the bad news is that there are no more last minute bargains.
