  2. Great video 👍. We have always used In Port Everglades the Fairfield Inn @ Dania Beach. Great rates and the staff is tremendous not sure why anyone would park at the terminal. I think Homewood is next door and they do the same I think but why switch we are very happy with the Fairfield

  6. We often sail from LA (San Pedro or Long Beach) and we find that hiring a car or doing Super Shuttle is less expensive than parking.

  7. Great video Sharon! I am fortunate to be able to drive to Port Canaveral but I do have upcoming cruises in Fort Lauderdale, that being a longer drive for me so I will be staying over night the night before, great tip about the hotel cruise stay! I am going to look for that! Thanks for sharing!!

  10. We drove over from Mesa, AZ for our Alaska cruise. We stayed at the Doubletree Inn by Hilton Hotel San Pedro. We arrived the day before our cruise and we were able to leave our car in their lot for the two weeks we were gone, at no extra cost. They give you a free breakfast and a free shuttle to the cruise port. If you figure what we would’ve paid for parking at the port (Long Beach), our hotel, breakfast and shuttle in effect cost the two of us $40 more. So, it was a great alternative for us.

  12. Great tips. Living in Florida we always drive to port. Miami and port Everglades we ALWAYS park in the parking garages at port. We don’t trust the area and have heard nightmares if parking cars elsewhere. Port Canaveral we parked at Park n Cruise and loved it easy to get to, less expensive and they had free shuttle to and from the port. Would definitely use them again.

  15. I was checking the Miami options. It looks like several have rides TO the port but no return shuttle. Just something to be aware of.
