It is really a new day which usually means we are in Glacier Bay Nationwide Park! Glacier Bay is a impressive place that I unquestionably endorse visiting! If you can, pick an Alaska cruise itinerary that stops right here! As normally, make absolutely sure to view in High definition for the greatest video top quality! Hope you get pleasure from! 🙂

  5. It was truly the bestest day ever! And the views from the Sanctuary on the Island Princess were amazing! Being on the Sanctuary allowed you to have a panaromic 180 degree view from the comfort of your lounge chair, wrapped in blankets, and being served hot chocolate. I felt like a queen for a day!

  6. Good video as always. Thanks for explaining the time actually spent viewing. Thought 9:15 am – 7:30 pm was too long. Trying to figure out the best place to view glacier. Have inside cabin on Island Princess. In Glacier Bay on 8/23.

  9. I can never get enough of seeing Glacier bay. The entire day was amazing, I was blessed with 73 degree weather in Sept! Spent all day on deck and on my balcony in a tank top and enjoying the UN..BE…LIEVEABLE Sights and sounds.

  10. Hello Scott. Beautiful place to be lucky for you to have been there many times. My question is , so the ship goes into glacier bay then turns around and back out. So if you have a balcony you get to see both sides of the bay ? I know it’s a crazy question but just wondering because we have a balcony. That way we wouldn’t have to go on the top deck with a few hundred other people lol 😎. And thanks for the tip, looks like we will order breakfast to our room the day we cruise glacier bay ☕️🥯

  15. Such good memories! On Glacier Bay day I also had room service deliver – very early (probably about 6:30am) & the delivery guy brought the tray in & saw my balcony door open & he was thrilled that I let him go out on the balcony so he could feel the cold air & see the beauty of the water and islands & snow capped mountains. I took a pic of him using his phone so he could send it back home to his family!! He was such a nice guy & gladly climbed over my scooter so he could get out on the balcony (he came back the next day too – guess he appreciated the tip I gave him)!
Sadly, the tv in my room was not a very smart tv – I couldn’t hear the commentary on the front of the ship channel or the location channel – so I eventually headed up to the sun deck to see the park rangers and hear what they had to say (and it was really nice to be with all the other passengers to hear the oooohs & ahhhhhs)!
I will never get tired of visiting Glacier Bay (and I’ve been there twice in September so I’ve been all the way up to Johns Hopkins)!
We were so lucky that we had great weather – cold, but not foggy at all – the views were magnificent & I did see Margerie Glacier calve (actually saw it twice, one small & one bigger & louder)!
Loved my port side balcony cabin (my neighbors were up very early too – setting up
a lot of camera equipment & they did have music playing – but very quiet & calm music)!
So great to see this video – you & Cheryl has a wonderful mini-suite with fantastic views of Glacier Bay!!
BTW – I had also ordered the breakfast sandwich – so yummy with my pot of English Breakfast tea!
