For our 10th anniversary we booked an eastern itinerary, when we got to the port it was changed to a western itinerary. We are trying the eastern itinerary again this year for our 20th anniversary.

We have done Eastern only (May 2018)- It was beautiful water but ports were still recovering from Irma. Considering Western vs Southern early 2020 🙂

We did the Western on the Wonder out of Galveston for 7 days. Was fun, was nice…but reeeally want to do Eastern and Southern for sure!

Thank you for touching on this subject. Our first cruise was a Western and we loved it. We're planning a second cruise for 2020 and weren't sure which way to go. i definitely think Eastern is going to be our itinerary the second time around. I love your videos. Your experience and practicality are so useful. Your sense of humor and call-it-like-you-see-it attitude make the videos so enjoyable! Thank you.

I went on the western cruise recently and I loved it! We went to Grand Cayman and Costa maya, Last time I went on a Jamaican cruise I felt really jumpy and , it felt kinda dangerous (in my opinion) especially with my young kids. Can’t wait to go on the eastern cruise next time and see what it’s like!

I totally agree with you about sea days on Disney cruises!

Honestly, unless we have a port adventure, we stay in the ship everywhere but castaway!… So the cheapest for the most days, its the best itinerary for us!

I agree with you on Jamaica it wasnt my favourite! The water at grand cayman was soo pretty. We did the catamaran to a private beach which was so nice!

Loved the detail in this video, really helpful for making plans. Have you been on the Panama Canal cruises?

I would say the Eastern is better than the Western for the sea day and the islands are nicer. Jamaica is too darn dangerous. I will say the 10/11 day Southern Fantasy is better than both the Eastern or Western hands down.

We've done the Western Caribbean cruise twice and loved it. We are taking our first Eastern Caribbean cruise in late December and can't wait! Thanks for the information.

This was so interesting. We enjoyed the sea days and the port days probably equally but they do seem like two separate holidays kind of.
Great video x

I'm booked for my first Cruise and it's a western on the fantasy. Are there places for passport stamping?
