Venture around Vancouver Island

This video is about a journey made in the summer of 2014 up the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island. Highlights are a loggers competition in Ucluelet, a black bear sighting, a cruise up the Marble River and a close encounter with the Roaring Hole Rapids in the Broughton Islands on the mainland

  7. Sorry old chap. You lost me when you couldn’t even get the name of the first port of call correct 🙄 Bamford? Good grief, even my iPhone wouldn’t let me type that 😂. Maybe stick to the San Juan Islands 👍

  8. You were in Bamfield, not Bamford

  9. According to Google Maps, Bamford doesn't even exist. I could find a town named Bamfield but it wasn't located in the same spot that you showed Bamford but farther NE. Is this a real place?

  29. The southern village with shore boardwalk is "Bamfield", not "Bamford". Barkley Sound has many interesting long and deep fjords, also.
