My three Favourite Cruise Ships

Persons occasionally ask me if I have a favored cruise ship or cruise line. The reply is that soon after 44 cruises, three cruise ships have stood out as remaining drastically greater than the other individuals I’ve cruised on. In all three scenarios, they are new ships a whole lot to present! If you’re considering about a cruise vacation, any just one of these ships would be an fantastic alternative!

I commence off by telling you about Carnival Vista, and specifically about the distinctive Havana location at the back of the ship… where young children usually are not authorized!

Next, I tell you about Anthem of The Seas, which sails out of Bayonne, New Jersey… just throughout the bay from New York Town. You get a good glimpse at the statue of Liberty at the beginning of your cruise on Anthem Of The Seas! I seriously adore the grownups-only solarium at the entrance of the ship, as effectively as the very substantial tech theater recognized as 270.

Finally, I introduce you to my favored cruise ship: Norwegian Bliss, and present you some of her finest features these kinds of as her dining places, observation lounge, go-kart track, and waterslides.

  4. Jim: I'm also an avid cruiser, starting so long ago that you had to tip the Whipper. But I avoid the " Cattle Car Of The Seas" choices that you prefer. I'm a fan of Holland America and Celebrity. Maybe that's because I'm 78 years old. My last cruise was with Holland America and the passengers were so old ( How old were they?) so old that they were calling me " Sonny". Instead of a running track on the upper deck, they had a track for electric wheel chairs. I'll sail with the Celebrity Equinox for my birthday in January, 2020. Thanks for your post.

  5. Jim, I've watched many of your videos and am always impressed that you call things as you see them – no loyalty to any particular cruise line! Also, your voice is soothing and professional sounding while your camera work is spot on! Thank you!

  9. Thanks for this video! I've just discovered you for myself and loving your content and perspective. A couple questions: This video was done in Fall 2018, now that you've been on Viking, would that ship crack your top 3 list? Since you prefer a less crowded, dare I say luxurious cruise, have you considered any of the smaller cruises lines aside from Viking, like Azamara, Seaborne, Crystal, Silversea or Regent?

  23. Jim great video! I would love an update as you are such a great cruiser of variety and ship knowledge! I am curious if you can do an update every year of your favorite to see if you would add any to the list and even, your least favorites and why? I remember Norwegian was one of your least favorite lines until you got the new ships under your belt. I love listening to the highs and lows!

  29. I'm glad to hear the Vista made your list! We are cruising on her July 2020, but unfortunately, not in a Havanah cabin. Maybe next time! P.S. – I think after 7:00 p.m. anyone can use the Havanah amenities.
