  1. Hi Gary, thanks for all the updates, thinking about booking a Caribbean Cruise with Royal Caribbean for February 2022. Do you think that is too early in 2022?

  3. Yesterday I’ve booked my first river cruise for July. Leaving my home port Rotterdam to Germany with Amawaterways. Very curieus if we like it and if we can leave. The vaccine roll out goes slow in the Netherlands and the numbers are still high.

  11. Thanks for that update Gary, very informative. I'm due to go on an Avalon Rhone cruise, starting 1st June, but from what you're saying it doesn't look very promising. (I'm from the UK). MIght it be worthwhile trying to rebook for August?

  12. All good info. Seems to be a smarter choice this year if you're going to do a river cruise in Europe do one that only sails in one country and not those that cross borders. Fingers crossed.

  13. We just had our May, 2021 Scenic River cruise postponed by Scenic for the second year in a row. Traveling from ATL to Basel then up to Amsterdam. Rebooked for June, 2022. Can't wait, better safe than sorry!

  15. Thank you for all your video information. Not surprising – we received this today from Vantage – We live in Illinois. It was scheduled for mid June this year – already rescheduled from last July!!
Unfortunately, this means we must reschedule your departure of Passage to Eastern Europe featuring Transylvania.

  22. I have done two river cruises with Viking in Europe and Russia and enjoyed them very much. I think that the vaccines will likley be required for river cruises as well going forward although some of the lines may start up in June or July with covid tests protocols. We know that those don't always work and SeaDream is an example of that. I'll only cruise once vaccines are required by the line for all passengers and crew.
