  1. They just hate cruising, and will use any excuse to keep it shut down. Many left politicians hate the cruise industry.

  2. Democrat lawmakers, Senator Richard Blumenthal and Rep Doris Matsui fired back at the Republican plan to open cruising in July (The Cruise Act). In the unexpected move, the Democrat lawmakers sent a letter to the CCD urging them to keep the conditional no-sail order in place.

  12. The damn Democrats and the CDC will not let cruising restart. The goal is not safety. The CDC has been weaponized to economically hurt red states like Florida, Alaska and Texas, which are heavily dependent on cruising dollars.

  15. I hope California and Connecticut doesn't have a say for Florida. Look at the border. We are smart and we can sail. Who do I send a message to for my opinion in this matter?

  21. Vaccines for all. Until vaccines are approved in kids, they don't sail. RT-PCR testing within 72 hours of sailing. Plus, Rapid Antigen tests on dock to weed out asymptomatic carriers exposed in that 72 hours. Capacity restrictions to start. Masks in all areas except in cabins and when actively eating or drinking. Rapid Antigen testing on board for EVERYONE every day. Social distancing. Daily temps and health screening. CDC staff on every ship to monitor compliance. One warning by CDC for non-compliance. Second non-compliance and ship returns to port.
