  5. Have a "great experience" while you drink on a cruise? Its the normal people that can have fun without drinking on a cruise, and can remember their experiences. Drunks don't know what's going on. Drunks are inappropriate, unaware of things around them, and behave like clumsy idiots. They should come up with non alcohol cruises

  8. Just had my 1st cruise. Day 1: Before we got to the room… I got drunk. I barely made muster because I separated from my sister who took the cruise with me. I wandered and sat. Wandered again and sat. Almost fell asleep… eventually found the cabin. What got me drunk? The ships flagship drink. Offered quickly to us upon embarkation. No Regrets!!! Had a blast on the cruise! Loved every moment!

  10. i also found that if you drink while still in port, you have to pay the taxes..even if you have the beverage package. once the ship set sail, you can drink without paying taxes.

  11. I’ve heard if you order a bottle of liquor (on Carnival and it may be true for other cruise lines), then the bottle is 20% cheaper and no service fee versus ordering it yourself.

  12. Another tip for diabetics is to bring sugar free drink mix packets like RSVP Skinnies or Baja Bobs then just order alcohol(vodka, rum, etc) with water or club soda and stir in packet.
